The Storm showed that they play with HEART!
When everyone counted them out, the Storm showed up to prove that they belong where they are--playing with the best of the best.

Wednesday morning the Storm exploded with 10 hits, crushing the Live Oak Lumberjacks, 11-4.

They came back that afternoon and played the Spirit. The Storm jumped out to an 8-0 lead, but the Spirit fired back with a 10 run rally in the 3rd. The final was Spirit 11, Storm 9. The Storm had 11 hits, including a 2-run Nick Hogan signature homerun in the 3rd.

Thursday afternoon the Storm faced the Pace All-Stars for the second time. The boys put it all on the line and went for broke. The were up 7-4 in the second, then trailed at the end of the third by a score of 7-8. They scored 2 runs in the top of the fourth to go back on top, but Pace was able to score 2 runs in the bottom of the inning to finish the game.

These Storm-boys showed us how to battle. They left it all on the field and held nothing back. They really are champions to Coach Mike and Coach Chris and all the families. We're so proud of them.

Storm name Team Captains
Vincent Cuccia and Nick Hogan have been named "Team Captains". Both players have been made Captains for their 100% efforts in everything they have done since joining the Storm, and for demonstrating "LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE". The team needs this kind of leadership, especially going into the World Series. They both are now authorized to wear a "C" on their game jerseys and are expected to continue setting the example for leadership and effort. Congradulations Vinny & Nick.
